DVTK-SC 6-3

With the transfer window closing DVTK made some moves as former Dunaújváros import Brad Smith was making his debut for the Miskolc team Roland Hajós, Jarkko Leppanen and Balázs Somogyi were all out of the lineup Attila Adorján was between the pipes. Csíkszereda came with their best possible roster as they need to pick up every point possible, Marek Peksa was starting in net and Ede Mihály was still suspended. Justin Cseter and Kalvin Sagert put Diósgyőr up 2-0 in the first two minutes of the game. Minutes later Ervin Moldován scored an unassisted goal to make it 2-1. Keegan Dansereau put DVTK back up by two goals on a power play but less than a minute later Alexander Dyadyushko made it 3-2 for Csíkszereda. In the second period the two teams exchanged goals in a short period of time when Jon Booras made it 4-2 but Dyadyushko answered back again to make it a one goal game. Later in the period Ádám Fekti gave  DVTK back the two goal lead.

MAC-Brasov 4-1

The Budapest team had Bence Bálizs in net, they were missing Drew Olson because of a suspension, Niko Saarenpaa was also out, Arnold Silló was back in the lineup after an injury. Brasov had a full line up with Zoltán Tőke starting in net. MAC took a 1-0 lead before the game was even a minute old as Jeff Hayes scored a power play goal. Later in the period Attila Németh redirected a shot from Viktor Tokaji and Hayes had a tap in to make it 3-0. In the last minute of play in the period Zsolt Mátyás put a rebound in between Bálizs’s legs. In the second period Tomas Klempa threw a pass from the corner in front of the net that Ian McDonald put past the keeper to make it 4-1. The score remained the same for the rest of the game as MAC picked up the three points.
