After playing UTE Friday night Ferencváros was back playing another Budapest derby as they travelled across the river to the Tüskecsarnok to take on MAC. Fradi had Oliver Ágoston starting in net, MAC countered with Bence Bálizs. Young defenseman Bence Stipsicz scored his first goal of the season off of a counter attack to give MAC the early lead. In the tenth minute of the game Attila Rafaj pulled Fradi even when he sniped the puck stick side to make it 1-1. Before the period was out MAC took the lead back when István Terbócs scored in the last minute when he buried a Nico Saarenpaa rebound. In the second period MAC made it 3-1 when Jeff Hayes put the puck in front of Tomas Klempa who was crashing the net. Just over two minutes later MAC made it 4-1 and started to pull away when Terbócs set up Saarenpaa for the goal. Fradi got it back to a three goal game when Tomas Valecko scored a shorthanded goal when he put the puck between Bálizs’ legs. In the third period Hayes set up Klempa for his second goal of the game and in the end Hayes scored to set the final at 6-2.

Fehérvár was playing shorthanded after missing Bodó and Orbán in their last game, Áron Reisz and Dániel Szabó were also called up to the EBEL squad, Alex Scola got the start in net, Dunaújváros went with Dávid Duschek. After a scoreless first period event really picked up in the second period as DAB scored first when Bálint Szepessy scored in the opening minutes of the game. René Léránt set up Phil Bushbacher to double the home team lead. Fehérvár got on the scoreboard with a powerplay goal by Krisztián Szabó off of a pass from Devon Krogh. It didn’t take long but Fehérvár had tied the game up right before the midway point of the game when Mitch Holmberg found the back of the net, five minutes later Tihamér Becze set up Krogh to put Volán up by one. In the third period brought no goals and Fehérvár held on for the one goal win.
DHK-HSC 0-3
Debrecen had a chance to stick with the league leaders with a win, Ádám Vay was in net for the home team as the visitors countered Marek Peksa defending the cage. Huba Bors put a shot on net that Anton Berlev put past Vay. Berlev doubled the lead in the early minutes of the second period and minutes later Nikita Mironov put Csíkszerda up 3-0 with the team's second short handed goal of the game. Peksa went the rest of the way for the shut out.
