The two Budapest clubs were playing for the four time this season with MAC taking the first 3 games. Ferencváros were without Viktor Kovács and Márton Mach because of injury and Zalán Fliszár was suspended, MAC did not have Attila Németh in the lineup. Olivér Ágoston and Bence Bálizs were in the net for their respective teams. Joona Mannien scored thirteen seconds in when he tapped home a centering pass. The game was tied up at 1-1 in the fifth minute when Bence Bödök set up István Terbócs for the first MAC goal of the game. It didn’t take long for Fradi to go back up, this time it was Jereme Tendler centering a pass that Gábor Kiss put past Bálizs. Manninen scored his second of the night on the powerplay when he put his rebound in from close range. The second period started off with FTC picking up 3 minor penalties and these having to kill a 5 on 3. Ian McDonald scored on the two man advantage when he took a pass from Tomas Klempa and fired it from the blueline past Ágoston. MAC scored twice more in the period to take the lead. Jeff Hayes tied it up with a power play goal and the goal that gave the team the lead was from Tamás Pozsgai who took a snapshot from the left faceoff circle. The game stayed at 4-3 for until late in the game when Hayes scored his second of the game off of a centering pass. MAC ended up holding on to the 5-3 lead.
