Following the season kickoff press conference a league meeting was held in the press room of the Tüskecsarnok to discuss a number of topics.
The first point on the agenda was the television broadcasts of league games being played in Transylvania. These games’ rights are held by a local station in Romania and will have to be negotiated with M4 who has the broadcast rights in Hungary.
The assignment of referees was also on the agenda with Gergely Kincses representing the referees in this matter as the two sides came to an agreement.
The disciplinary committee was setup and voted on today, Antal Palla is the president with the rest of the committee being made up of Péter Beck, Darryl Easson, Joel Hansson, Iuliu Becze and Zoltán Palla.
All home teams have to provide game film by the next morning 8am for the team they had just faced.
The league and the HIHF talked at lengths about their relationship with the RIHF and their cooperation together, which is still being worked on.
