MAC-Brasov 17-1

After the big loss to Ferencváros the night before Brasov knew they had an enormous challenge ahead of themselves against MAC. Szilárd Béres started in net for Brasov, MAC had Bence Bálizs in net and Bruno Kreisz made his MOL League debut, but Krisztián Nagy and István Mestyán were not in the lineup. At first it looked like Brasov could keep the score close as the first goal was not scored until the 8:31 mark of the first period when Tomas Klempa scored, but 12 seconds later Dávid Szappanos doubled the lead. Klempa and Szappanos both scored a second time in the period with Drew Olson and Ian McDonald also finding the back of the net to make it 6-0 after the first period. After almost a ten minute span of not scoring MAC turned it up again, Richárd Tóth scored his first one of the season, with Kristóf Schmál, Jeff Hayes and Viktor Tokaji all scoring to make it 10-0. Zsolt Péter stuffed a rebound home to score what would end up being the only Brasov goal of the night. Hayes would end up scoring two more times before the period was out to make it 12-1 after two. MAC scored five in the third period with Tóth, Hayes, McDonald and Olson also scoring again and Dezső Roczanov also scoring.

DVTK-HSC 7-1

Attila Adorján started in net for Diósgyőr and Marek Peksa was in net for Csíkszereda. The game was scoreless until the tenth minute when Márk Miskolczi scored a power play goal. Nikandrosz Galanisz doubled the lead on a power play goal in the first minute of the second period. Minutes later Galanisz scored again and later Kalvin Sagert made it 4-0. Just at the halfway minute mark of the game Róbert Péter scored the only Csíkszereda goal of the game to make it 4-1.  A Keegan Dansereau power play goal in the last minute of the period really put the game away for DVTK. Sagert and Levente Szilágyi scored a shorthanded goal to set the final at 7-1.
