This past weekend Miskolc remained the only undefeated team in the MOL League after a 9-1 win against Újpest, and a 3-1 win at Debrecen. One of the reasons for the two wins was one of the import players for Miskolc, Zach Cohen who is this weeks Player of the Week. He had four goals and an assist against Újpest and another assist in the Debrecen win.

You personally had a big weekend, what is it like to score four goals in one game?
It was pretty amazing to score that many goals in one game, personally. I have never done it before and it felt great to be able to accomplish that feat. It helped a lot with my teammates working hard and giving me great passes as well.
You have played five games, what has been your first impression about the MOL league so far?
The league is very good so far, fast, young and skilled. Throughout the year every team is going to get better and better and the games will be that more exciting to watch.
What is the biggest reason that Miskolc is the only undefeated team in the league?
I would say the biggest reason is the work ethic of the team. We know that it is going to be a tough road to win the championship and every day is another day to get better.
How would you describe the type of forward you are and how does your style of play fit into the European style of hockey?
I would say I am big power forward who likes to drive to the net and open up lanes for my line mates. I would say my size has helped me fit into this style of play because I'm one of the bigger guys out there and I can use that to my advantage.
You are originally from Chicago, but spent your college years at Boston University and played hockey at Boston University. For someone who is not familiar with the Beanpot how would you describe the tournament and the general environment during that weekend?
The Beanpot tournament was the most fun time of the year. It is the first two Mondays of February and was played at the Boston Bruins arena in downtown Boston (currently the TD Garden). It is for the four college teams in Boston (Boston University, Boston College, Harvard, and Northeastern) and you would play one team the first Monday and if you win you would play the other team that won in the championship final the following Monday. There were 20,000 fans at the games and a great atmosphere. I was lucky enough to win the Beanpot twice and it was very cool.
