MOL League: Week 9 Preview

Following the international break the the MOL League is back with another abbreviated week with two games that have playoff implications.

Debrecen travels to neighboring Miskolc to take on DVTK for a televised Tuesday night matchup. Debrecen is currently in third place but with a win they could gain some ground on MAC. Ustantsev, Izsák and Vasjunyin were back on the ice practicing, it is not clear yet if they will play on against DVTK or not. The coaching situation with the club is not clear at this time but Balázs Ladányi will be behind the bench for the time being. DVTK was also working hard during the international break and now will have Jesse Dudás and Balázs Somogyi back in the lineup for this eastern matchup.

The later game of the day is on the other side of the Danube as Újpest will travel to Fehérvár to take on Volán. Both teams have played 18 games this season with the home team sitting in fourth place and the visitors are in fifth, with eight points separating the two sides. The teams have faced each other twice with UTE winning both games.
