
According to schedule the the Hungarian and Romanian Ice Hockey Federations are have started negotiations about the future of the MOL League on the fortnight of the IIHF congress in Dubrovnik.
The biannual congress of the International Ice Hockey Federation starts today on the 24th, the plans were that the HIHF and the RIHF meet the night before to discuss the future of the MOL League.
The constructive meeting had HIHF president Csaba Kovács, secritary general Zoltán Kovács and Hungarian national team manager Attila Nagy take part on the Hungarian side with RIHF president Mihai Covalie and secretary general Alexandru Halauca from the Romanian side. Once both sides explained what they are looking they decided that they are open to a new contract and agreement between the two federations since they see a future together in the MOL League. These negotiations will continue after the IIHF congress, the Romanian Federation did state that they will not stand in the way of the two Romanian clubs, Corona Brasov and HSC Csíkszereda from playing in the MOL League
