With just about ten games left in the MOL League regular season DVTK and MAC are the two teams that have locked up a playoff spot, there is a still a tight race at the bottom of the standings.
The MOL League match week starts off with a very strange situation as a game from October between Újpest and Fehérvár will be finished up as the game was in overtime when Devon Krogh was injured and the game was suspended until a later date. That date is this Friday when the remaining time in overtime will be played. After the game is finished up the teams will play the originally scheduled match, with a win Fehérvár could pretty much lock up third place in the league. Volán will follow this up with a rare early Sunday afternoon game against the league leaders DVTK and a Fejér county derby against Dunaújváros.
Diósgyőr is 2-0 under new coach Jason Morgan, they will open the week up against Debrecen who is on a four game losing streak but only lost by one when the two teams faced each other. DVTK have been dealing with injured of late as Adrián Tóth looks to be out for some time.
MAC Budapest hopes to bounce back from their disappointing loss to DVTK with wins at Dunaújváros and home against Debrecen, which will be a TV game.
Dunaújváros will be facing a second Budapest team at home when they host UTE, a team that they have lost two the last two times in Újpest, both by one goal.
Ferencváros will be making a trip to Romania to take on the two Transylvanian clubs, visiting Brasov first and Csíkszereda second, with the match week finishing up with the last Transylvanian derby of the season in Brasov.
