This past week it seemed like none of the teams could afford to drop points but that is clearly impossible. DAB.Docler managed to stay points ahead of Miskolc and Nové Zámky for first place with Újpest having a two point lead over Ferencváros for the last playoff spot.
The week started off with a great match az Nové Zámky hosted Dunaújváros, where the home team lead by two Peter Polcik goals upset the first place team. Nové Zámky ended up slipping up to their rivals Miskolc in a ridiculously high scoring game that resembled more of a water polo match than a hockey game as Keegan Dansereau scored a hat trick in the 7-5 Miskolc win. Nové Zámky closed out the week on a high note as they squeaked past Debrecen 4-3 at home.
Miskolc started the week with a 5-1 win over Debrecen who later in the week would help out Miskolc as DHK was able to steal one point from DAB.Docler in an overtime loss.
The two Budapest teams, Ferencváros and Újpest travelled to Transylvania to take on Brasov and Csíkszereda. Brasov picked up the maximum six points in wins against both Budapest teams. They were not high scoring affairs with a 3-1 win over UTE and 2-1 over FTC.
Csíkszereda did not fare as well with the two teams as their rivals did, Ferencváros won 4-2 in a game that was tied 2-2 with twelve minutes left before Fradi scored two late goals for the win. HSC managed to beat UTE 3-2 in a shootout with Marek Curilla beating Olivér Ágoston for the game winner.
The week ended ended with a Transylvanian derby as Brasov improved to 2 and 0 against HSC this season with a 3-1 win.
