With the IIHF international break just around the corner the MOL league will have a shortened week, but will be just as action packed as it has been all season.
DVTK has a one point lead over MAC but they have played three less games than the Budapest team. There is a three way tie between Dunaújváros, HSC Csíkszereda and Ferencváros for the final playoff spot.
The first place team is back in action after competing in the Continental Cup last week, they will host DAB who somehow always causes a bit of a problem for Díósgyör. On Sunday they will face MAC Budapest who has picked up a couple of smaller injuries on the blueline but hope to have everyone fit for the Sunday matchup. MAC will face Ferencváros in their first game of the weekend, a team that is in a bit of a slump but is still a talented team. Fradi who will be without suspended Linus Schellin, will be closing out their weekend against third placed Debrecen, a club that almost has more injured players than healthy ones. Debrecen will be having a Budapest weekend as they will be facing UTE as well, DHK has a tall task if they want to pick up six points in the big city.
Fehérvár AV19 who’s forwards Chris Bodó and Brance Orbán were named this past week's players of the week will be making their first trip to Transylvania. It is never an easy road trip, both teams are hard to beat at home and the long bus ride can take a lot out of the players.
