
Miskolc won another close game to be one win away from the finals, in Nové Zámky the defending champions have taken the series lead.
Brasov-Miskolc 3-4
For the third game out of three Miskolc and Brasov have played a tight game down to the final whistle but every time the regular season champion has come out on top, this was no different in game three. Magor Petres put the home side up on the opening minutes of the game but Roland Hajós tied it up with a late power play goals as the teams went into the first intermission tied up at 1-1. In the second period Brasov came out of the lockerroom strong again as team captain Árpád Mihály gave his team the lead 61 seconds into the period. Brasov played strong throughout the rest of the period but just like in the first twenty minutes Miskolc was able to capitalize on a late power play in the period. This times Jesse Dudas was able to beat Patrik Polc in the last minute to make it 2-2. The final twenty minutes proved to be dramatic as Brasov was trying to hold on to a one goal lead and avoid being down three games to none. Balázs Láda gave Miskolc their first lead of the night, but Brasov tied it up with just under 5 minutes left in the period on a Zsolt Molnár goal. In the final two minutes of a deadlocked game Hajós stepped up, took a pass from Keegan Danseuse to score the his second goal of the game and winner to give Miskolc a 3-0 series lead, they can close out the series with a win on Sunday.

Nové Zámky-DAB.Docler
With the series going to Nové Zámky the defending champions had the chance to take the series lead for the first time. Game three proved to be a real battle of the goalkeepers. The first period remained scoreless until the closing seconds when Pavel Kowalczyk setup Erik Caladi for the go ahead goal. Nové Zámky maintained the 1-0 lead until the midway point of the match when DAB.Docler took advantage of a 5 on 3 power play, after cycling the puck around Balázs Somogyi beat Lukás Cikánek for the tieing goal. Before the second twenty minutes were over DAB.Docler had managed to flip the score as Nikandrosz Galanisz gave Dunaújváros their first lead of the game at 2-1. At the begin of the third period Nové Zámly as they have during the playoffs when they needed a goal turned to Eric Weissmann who this time tied the game up. Fourth line players rarely get an opportunity to score goals in the third period of a close playoff game, however this is what happened to Boris Rejzek when he beat Janis Kalnins, Rejzek’s goal proved to be the game winner. In the closing minutes Nathan Martin was tossed from the game after getting a game misconduct. Nové Zámky can open up a two goal lead on Sunday in game four the semifinal series.
