After the historic win against Belarus most of the players worked out in the gym before an other important game against Germany on Monday.
Head coach Rich Chernomaz and the coaching staff decided to keep most of the players off the ice as only Ádám Vay, Csanád Erdély, Krisztián and Zsombor Garát were on the ice. Tamás Sille, Viktor Tokaji and goalie coach Gary Clark worked out Vay.
István Bartalis: My nose is fine, it's not broken. We hold our fate in our own hands, the Germans have a number of great players and play with a fast pace and are very organized. It doesn't matter what they play tonight we just need to concentrate on our own game. The fans were unbelievable, I didn't think we would have had those many coming out and supporting us.
Vilmos Galló: Yesterday was sensational, I have goose bumps before every game, it's a feeling that I can not describe. I had a number of scoring chances against Canada and Slovakia it was nice to score again. We knew that we would be playing 7 games in 10 days so the coaching staff went with a younger roster. I am expecting a good game against Germany and we will be playing to stay in the A-Pool.
Gergő Nagy: It was unbelievable game against Belarus, and now we have another opportunity to prove ourselves against Germany as well. We are happy that we were able to give something back to the fans as well.
