The Hungarian National ice hockey team will be playing two exhibition matches in Budapest on the weekend of April 12-13 in preparation for the IIHF Division 1A world championship in Goyang, South Korea.
Hungary will be facing Austria on Saturday and the Slovenians on Sunday, both teams will be playing this coming February in the winter Olympics in Sochi Russia.
Starting December 9th through January 31st two day tickets for the tournament will be on sale at a discounted price.
The Papp László Budapest Sportaréna will be the host venue of this three team tournament. These two teams are ideal for preparation since both of them will joining the national teams of Japan, Ukraine and the hosts Korea as the opponents for Hungary at the World Championships.
The fans will to have a sneak peek at these three teams and have the opportunity to give the national team a fitting send off as they hope to have the same fortunes as the last time the team traveled to the far east in 2008 to Sapporo.
