On the day off the boys had an off ice practice session before their final game on Saturday night against Poland.
The team had an on ice practice scheduled for Friday afternoon originally, because of them playing back to back days Rich Chernomaz and the coaching staff decided to have a dry practice before noon that consisted of playground games just to get the muscles loose.
“The purpose of today was just to get a bit of movement, we have been on the cie for 8-9 months a practice might do more harm than good.” said Tyler Metcalfe
After the 11.30 practice the team had lunch in the city and had free time the rest of the day. On Saturday they will have a morning ice session with the game at 20:00. The squad looks healthy from top to bottom, there are no injuries to report.
