One Win and One Loss for U18

Both U18 squads were on the ice on Saturday, in Asiago Hungary faced France and in Debica the opponent was Belarus.

Asiago, Italy

On the last day of the tournament Hungary took on the other winless team, France in a fight for third place., getting the start in net was Gergely Bors. After the first 20 minutes France had a 1-0 lead, in the second period both Andor Péter and Kevin Szabad found the back of the net to put Hungary up by one. The two teams swapped goals as Martin Sági scored with four seconds left to give Hungary a 3-2 lead going into the last period. The score remained the same until the closing minutes when Dániel Szlama scored to set the final score at 4-2

Debica, Poland

Things did not get any easier for the squad in Poland, after losing to Austria Hungary took on a very strong Belarusian U17 team, Boldizsár Győri was the goalie of choice. Győri had plenty to do as the Belarusian attack peppered the HUngarian net for ten goals in a 10-2 win. On the closing day of the tournament Hungary will be going up against the home team Poland.
