Péter Gebei was not selected to officiate in the A Pool world championships in Czech Republic, however he will be in Krakow at the Division 1/A group.
The International Ice Hockey Federation released the list of referees and linesmen that will be officiating in the Czech Republic this May, Gebei who looked as if he would be selected did not make the final list.
Because one of the officials had to withdraw from the tournament in Poland, they recommended that Gebei take their place for the tournament that will run from April 19th to the 26th.
Aside from the men’s senior team being represented, the Hungarian referees will be able to root for one of their own as well.
