DAB.Docler is back on top of the MOL League standings after they picked up six points on a two game road trip against Csíkszereda and Brasov, one of the main reasons for such a great trip was Dávid Szappanos who had five goals and one assist and is leading the league in goals, because of his performance he is this weeks MOL League player of the week and first two time player of the week this season.

What was the different these last two games that had you have such an outburst in goals?

Everything just happened to come together, I had scoring chances in the last few games as well the pucks just weren't bouncing my way. I was more setting up my teammates than scoring goals, however I did have some nice passes from Galanisz and Azari that I was able to put in the back of the cage.

Looks like DAB.Docler is out of the slump that they were in last month, what is the environment in the locker room now?

We really needed these two wins, we were in a bit of a slump, we tried to find the cause of this, we as a team we talk about it, we made some changes and it looks like we got out of it. There was a great atmosphere on the trip back from Romania, we picked up six points.

Recently DAB.Docler brought in a new assistant coach Marc LeFebvre, what does he bring to the table as an assistant coach?

So far we haven't really worked with him since he joined us on a series of road games, but we will learn a lot from him, during the games he will be working with the defencemen.

Dunaújváros is hosting the U20 Division 1/B World Championships this week, have you had the opportunity to see a game, and if so what have you seen from the young guys?

Today (Monday) I’m planning on going out to see them play since we have an off day, I hear that they beat Poland in a shootout, I will be rooting for them.
