DAB-Docler is sitting on the top of the MOL League standings after ten games with a six point cushion over second place Miskolc, as they picked up all nine point in the three games they played this past weekend.

One of the main reasons the team is in such a great form is because of number 88 for the SteelBulls, Nikandrosz Galanisz, who had 5 goals and 1 assist in the three games. In the 6-3 win over Újpest, which was actually a lot closer than the score would show, his second goal was a penalty shot that he put past goalie Jozsef Pleszkán. Dunaújváros also beat Csíkszereda 4-2 but the third game of the three matches was the most important one since they played Miskolc, which in the end was a 4-1 win with Galanisz again stepping up and scoring two goals to seal the victory and to put some space between his club and Miskolc.

Nikandrosz was born and started his hockey career in Dunaújváros, he has spent the better part of the past decade as a staple of the organization as he has only worn one teams jersey during his pro career. The next time Galanisz steps on the ice for a MOL League game, it will be his 200th match in the league and has 287 points. He has become a prolific scorer as one can see based off of his 1.44 points per game average in the League.

In the past he has represented Hungary at the IIHF world championships, olympic qualifying as well as a number of EIHC tournaments. He has won two MOL League titles lead his team in scoring three times and right now is second on the team with 12 points in 10 games. He has also lead the league in goals one season and assist in an other, which show that he is capable of adjusting his game to fit the needs of his teammates. In the end this might be the reason why DAB.Docler could win their third MOL League title.
