The Hungarian national team had a 30 minute pre game skate Tuesday morning that actually took 45 minutes.
Balázs Sebők: It was not exactly a real expectation that we could beat Slovakia and Canada but we did prove that we belong in the A-Pool. We have to stick to our game plan, we need to skate and we’ll need to think fast, just like anyone else that we are playing. We will try to take care of the mistakes that we made against Canada.
Bence Stipsicz: I have been able to pick up the pace as the tournament has gone on, which was expected. The French play an aggressive style and they fight hard which is what I assume can be said for the entire team. After looking at game film the coaching staff will tell us what to expect.
Viktor Tokaji: We need to improve on our faceoffs and also counter attacks after a turnover, this could be key in tonight's game. Also the special teams will be a decided factor in the game.
