The E.U. and Erasmus backed European Rookie Cup is back for its second year with four Hungarian teams in the final 16 teams, with on of the group stage sights being Budapest.
The 2015 edition of the U16 tournament was won by the Vienna Capitals with MAC Budapest finishing second and Fehérvár AV19 capturing the bronze medal.
The tournament has a group stage made up of four teams with the four winners advancing to a final round robin group stage.
There is still one final spot open in the tournament which will go to the fourth place Hungarian team, which currently is CsÍkszereda however they are ineligible so it will come down to either Pesterzsébet, Debrecen or Miskolc taking the final spot.
