The men’s senior team opened up the EIHC 4 Nations tournament training camp with an intrasquad crimage, on Tuesday night the roster will be cut to the final 28.
The roster was split into two squads with Gary Clark coaching the Black team and Tamás Sille behind the bench of the White squad with Rich Chernomaz and Gergely Majoross watching from the stands.
There have been a couple of changes to the roster as István Bartalis is out with an injury, Peter Sevela will out because of personal reasons and Árpád Mihály can’t make it because of club commitments to Brasov. Also missing from the Monday night scrimmage was Csaba Kovács who was given the day off, István Sofron had to take care of some paper work and János Vas arrived after the scrimmage all three players will be back for todays practice. No players were called in to replace Bartalis, Sevela or Mihály.
The its looking like Chernomaz and the coaching staff will be switching back to the 1-3-1 that the team used at the early part of the 2013 world championships.
