The national team arrived to St.Petersburg without a hitch, they will have a practice on Friday and then open the first game of the tournament against Slovakia on Saturday.
The Hungarian contingent travelled in three waves to St. Petersburg, the first one to leave was Zoltán Kovács of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation, the second were the staff members that had meetings to attend before the tournament started. The third wave was the team and the remaining staff members.
Everyone had arrived by seven in the afternoon, local time, after eating some guys rested up others with members of the staff went to the arena to get the locker room organized for the next 11 days.
