Hakan Nygren did not stay unemployed very long as the former Ferencváros coach was hired by MOL League runner-up Brasov along with former Troja-Ljungby coach Jerry Anderson. The two Swedes are replacing interim coach László Kovács who was in charge after Miroslav Ihnacak and Brasov parted ways.
Nygren has already run a couple practices and will be behind the bench for today’s game against Csíkszereda with Anderson to join the team later in the week.
Jerry Anderson was the coach and later general manager of Troja-Ljungby when István Bartalis and János Vas were with the Swedish club
Nygren has some familiar faces on the roster as he brought Juha Hietamaki to the MOL League when he signed with Ferencváros in 2011-12 and Csanád Fodor was also in Fradi for the first part of last season.
