Chernomaz won two in a row with the Hungarian national team.

After a sold win yesterday the Hungarian national team faced South Korea in hoping to win two in a row. Coach Chernomaz decided to mix it up today but the out come was still very similar with a 6-1 win. Cherno decided to go with Dávid Gyenes between the pipes replacing Miklós Rajna. Ádám Hegyi, Balázs Láda, Bálint Magosi, Nikandrosz Galanisz, and Balázs Somogyi were replaced with Attila Orbán, Péter Hetényi, Attila Pavuk, Dávid Szappanos and Roland Hajos in the lineup. The first period started off pretty evenly with South Korea taking the lead halfway through the period, with Hungary striking back five minutes later by putting three in the back of the net in a span of 1:49. The three goal scores for Hungary in the first were Orbán (a: Szappanos), Balázs Ladányi (a: Tamás Pozsgai), and János Vas (a: Bence Szirányi).

The second period started like the first with nothing really happening for about the first five minutes, János Hári scored 4:56 into the second with István Bartalis and Ladislav Sikorcin getting the assists. After the goal things kind of got a bit dicey with Viktor Szélig receiving 2+2 for roughing with J.Vas getting 2+10 for roughing and a misconduct. Not to be out done the opponents also had Sung get 2+2 for roughing and Park also getting 2+10 for roughing and misconduct. Later on in the period Kim would get 2 minutes for slashing and Sung 2 minutes for cross checking which the Huns converted with István Sofron (a: Hári, Ladányi) scoring at 13:48. Just for good measure Pavuk and Pozsgai both received two minutes for cross checking and high-sticking respectively.

The third period was relatively quiet with Sofron scoring the sixth goal of the match on a pass from Ladányi. Kwak would close out the box score with a penalty for cross checking. Ladányi was the leading scorer with one goal and two assists. Bartalis continued his scoring by adding an assist to the five points he had against Romania.

Check back tomorrow for a recap of the Hungary-Poland match.
