Tough Competition for U18

As mentioned earlier in the week the U18 squad has been spilt into an A team and a B team also known as the Italian and teh Polish. The team traveling it Italy will be playing against the hosts, Frans and Slovenia where the team in Poland will be playing against the hosts, Austria and Belarus.

Asiago, Italy

As it was written about already in Italy the Hunagrian team lost to Slovenia in 4-2 in a match where they came back from being down 4-0. The squad coached by Glen Williamson started Gergely Bors in net with Zsombor Kiss and renátó Tóth scoring the goals. On Friday against Italy Bence Kiss was inbetween the pipes for Hungary. The game started well for Hungary as they were up 1-0 on a Donát Szita goal, in the second Hungary only had six shots on net, in the third this improved a bit but in the end Hungary only scored once where as teh Italians found the back of the net twice in each the the periods for the 4-1 win. The boys are back on the ice at 15:40 against France on Saturday.

Debica, Poland

The team in Poland is under the direction of Bence Svasznek who started their tournemnet on Friday against Austria. After the first period the teams where tied up at 1-1, in the second period Austria took it to teh next level as they scored two unanswered goals and in the third period scored four times as Hungary managed to only score once as the final was 7-2. Today the Belarussian U17 team will be taking on Hungary at 16:00.
