The U20 national team is back for a short training camp three weeks after taking three out of three games against Poland.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday the U20 Hungarian national team will be in for a short training camp at the Tüskecsarnok. Head coach Rich Chernomaz and his coaching staff has called in a total of 46 players from seven Hungarian clubs. The roster breakdown is 6 goalies, 16 goalies and 24 forwards. The players that are playing abroad and were in camp last time were left out because of the obvious travel reasons. In place of these players a number of younger players born in 1998 and 1999 will be going the 96-97 team. Gergely Arany was left out as well but this was because he was the only 1996 goalie in camp and the staff would like to take a better look at the younger goalies, the full roster can be found here.
The roster will be split into two teams and they will do everything separately, both teams will have a morning ice session and an afternoon ice session with a fitness test for only one of the teams and meetings throughout the day on Tuesday. On Wednesday the second group will have their fitness test with both teams hitting the ice for their third fifty minute practice of the two days. The two teams will do everything separately with an 80 minute inter squad game being played Tuesday at 14:00.
