U15: SO win against Slovenia

2015.12.17. 22:06 |

Hungary opened its Four Nations Tournament in St. Pölten with a 1-0 a shootout win against Slovenia.

The early game was a close one as host Austria won against Italy in a shootout as well, prevailing 5-4 at the end.

Hungary-Slovenia was an even tighter affair as neither side was able to score over the course of three periods plus OT.

Slovenia goalie Nejc Zagar stood on his head stopping 38 shots in the process, while Hungary's netminder Dominik Horvath also worked perfectly, stopping 28.

Even the shooutout itself was as close as it can get as it stayed 1-1 after three shots each. However, in the extra round only Ádám Szűcs could score and Jus Cerne couldn't, therefore Team Hungary won its first game of the tournament.

Team Hungary will play against Italy on Friday afternoon at 17.40, and will close its tourno against Austria on Sunday at 13.40.
