U16: Hungary Comes up Short vs Austria

Hungary-Austria 4-3

The Hungarian U16 national team finished up their tournament in Austria against the host nation in a closely competed game.

Coach Zoltán Szilassy gave Oliver Galló the start in the final match of the three game competition. The goalies for both teams played great through first half of the game, it was locked up at 0-0 through the first period and past the halfway point of the second. Pfeffer put Austria up 1-0 on a 5 on 3 power play. Not long after in a scoring spree that lasted 67 seconds Hungary flipped the score were up by two goals 3-1. Marcell Révész tied it up at 1-1, 24 seconds later Nátán Vertes gave Hungary their first lead of the game, Márk Almási put Hungary up by two. In the final period Austria turned back to their power play to get back into the game, at 44:38 Neubauer scored on the man advantage to make it a one goal game. Later in the period Austria scored twice in a 31 second span to take back the lead, the host nation would hold on for the 4-3 win.
