Glen Williamson has named the traveling U16 roster for the Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament (KIBHIT).
Three goalies, eight defencemen and eleven forwards made the final roster and well be preparing for their biggest adventure of their hockey careers. The Hungarian U16 team will be making their trip to Kamloops Canada on December 26th. The kids will be living two apiece with local families where they will have the chance to pick up new experiences off the ice as well.
They won't have that much time away from the ice as on the 27th they are playing an exhibition game against the Kamloops Jr. Blazers and on the 29th against Balgonie Prairie Storm with the tournament running from the 30th to January 4th.
This is one of the most prestigious midget tournament where there are regularly 2000 people in attendance with a number of junior scouts present as well. The tournament program can be found here.
