The U18 boys who are split up this weekend into two squads came up short in Asiago, Italy against Slovenia.
Coach Glen Williamson decided to start Gergely Bors in the net against Slovenia. After a scoreless first period Nik Simsic made it 1-0 for Slovenia in the opening minutes of the second period. Glavic Gaspar and Andraz Zibelnik scored soon after as Slovenia was up 3-0 before the period was even five minutes old.
Jan Drozg made it 4-0, however Hungary fought back to make the score respectable, Viktor Török and Bence Stipsicz set up Zsombor Kiss to make it 4-1 and Renátó Tóth scored an unassisted goal to set the final at 4-1.
