U18 comes up short against Slovenia

With two defeats behind them the Hungarian U18 team faced Slovenia during their closing game of the four nations tournament in Austria.

Slovenia-Hungary 4-3

Head coach Glen Williamson gave Károly Tóth the start against Slovenia. Slovenia jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Sturm scored on Slovenia’s first power play, ten minutes later Slovenia scored on the power play again when Mikulic scored to make it 2-0. Right before the end fo the period Gergely Tóth cut Hungarian deficit in half, in the second period Brglez put Slovenia back up by two goals, later in the period Kapel converted a penalty shot to make it 4-1, in the closing minutes of the game Barnanás Majoross scored a power play goal to make it 4-2. In the last period of the game Bálint Horváth scored to make it a one goal game but Hungary was not able to get any closer.
