The U18 national team opened up camp for the upcoming tournament that will be held in Újpest from the 28th through the 30th.
The U18 national team will be split into two teams, Red and White, joining them will be the national teams of Poland and Ukraine for a tournament.
Szabolcs Fodor and András Horváth will be each coaching a 22 man roster for Hungary as U18 head coach Glen Williamson is in Canada with the U16 national team
Szabolcs Fodor talked to icehockey.hu about the upcoming tournamnet and what they are expecting from the two teams. "There will be two Hungarian teams, there will be two head coaches with me and András Horváth coaching the two teams, each of us will have an assistant from one of the younger national teams with the goalie coaching working with both teams. Glen Williamson and me are on the same page so we will be going with what he would want to see and the same expectations and we hope that everyone will be working together. We want players that will leave everything on the ice when they play for the national team."
