Coaches corner:
Hungarian coach Norbert Buzás: The game didn't start the best for us as we were not able to pick up their pace at the start of the game and they were able to score goals, we eventually picked it up in the second period and we had some positives. We lost to a very good Slovak team, the girls battled hard and worked hard, we knew we would have games like this.
Slovak head coach Tomas Psenka: The girls started off great, they stuck to the game plan in the first period and we were able to open up a 3-0 lead, in the second period we didn't play our best and did not concentrate but luckily we were able to get ourselves together for the final period.
View from the ice:
Goalie Vanessa Horváth:The Slovaks were a very tough opponent but I think we played well, the coaching staff told us it was not the end of the world if we lost as long as we play 100%, we didn’t fall apart when they scored goals.
