
Rich Chernomaz and the U20 coaching staff have announced the roster for the upcoming 4 Nations tournament in Vaujany France.
In preparation for the U20 World Championships in December, Hungary will be traveling to France to play the host nation as well as Italy and Slovenia from November 5th through November 7th. There have been three goalie ten diffencmen and seventeen forwards, the players come from five Hungarian teams with nine players coming from abroad, including defencemen Tamás Láday from Canada and Zsombor Garát from the U.S. There are three players born in 1998 with the rest of the roster split 18 from the class of 1996 and 9 from 1997. One player that is missing, however this was already agreed upon before the season started Csanád Erdély.
The players are reporting Monday afternoon, on November 2nd at the Tüskecsarnok with an intrasquad game right on the first day. On Tuesday after a practice the roster will be trimmed down to 20 skaters and 2 goalies, with an afternoon practice and an all night bus ride to France and an afternoon practice on Wednesday. The team opens up Thursday against Italy, Friday night against France and a lunch date against Slovenia.
