For the second day in a row Hungary came up short against their neighbors Austria in an exhibition game before the Division II/A World Championships.
Rich Chernomaz gave Bence Kiss the start in the second exhibition game with Kristóf Dobos as the backup. Also in the line up after being scratched on Tuesday was Dániel Vizi, Donát Szita, Patrik Kiss, Márk Szaller and Kevin Szabad. Not dressing today was Gergely Arany, Tamás Láday, Máté Gáspár, Martin Sági, Balázs Varga and Lőrinc Tanka also not playing was Vilmos Galló who will be joining the squad later.
Austria opened up the scoring as a puck deflected off of a Hungarian defender and past Kiss. Hungary was able to tie the game up off of a power play goal by Eric Keresztury, Norbert Antal and István Terbócs were credited with the assists. The home team took the lead back in the early part of the second period. Like the day before Hungary scored two goals, this time the second goal was scored by Zsombor Kiss with Zsombor Garát and team captain Csanád Erdély getting the assists.
