U20 national team head coach  was asked what his opinion was about the junior teams showing in the early part of the training camp as well as the exhibition game against MOL League side Újpest.

UTE beat the U20 team 4-3 with goalie János Lajcs, defensemen Attila Kovács and Dávid Jászai as well as forward Csanád Erdély dressed for UTE as they were playing without their import, top two goalies and a couple of veterans.

Erdély, two by Márk Egyed and David Coleman were the scorers for UTE, Erik Keresztury scored twice and István Terbocs in the last second of the game for the U20. Tamás Láday and Vilmos Gallo were not in the camp yet and Philip Felföldy was injured right before the start of camp. Team captain Ferenc Kocsis took an elbow to the nose in the first period and missed the rest of the game, how ever he is fine and will be playing with a cage in the tournament.

“Mostly mentally and physically the team is where we want them to be, we need to make some adjustments and players need to be less selfish” said Chernomaz after the game “guys need to understand that what might work at the level that they play at their club might work at this level.

Rich Chernomaz was also not happy with a couple of players “there will be some tough decisions to be made with the final roster, there are players that I am concerned about who I originally would have expected to make the team that need get on the same page instead of being on there own page”
