The third day of the U20 training camp had two on ice sessions as well as a roster change.
After Donát Szita’s injury another player was forced to leave training camp as Dániel Vizi, who had made the initial roster had to leave because of illness, taking the empty roster spot is Zoltán Nagy.
Coach Bence Svasznek: The roster change will not really have a big impact, because of the illness to Dániel Vizi Zoltán Nagy was called back into camp as he was the next man on the list. What is great for Vizi is that he will have another chance to prove that he belongs when Rich Cheromaz holds the U20 camp at the end of August. We know Dani from last years World Championships, he will miss out on a game against the U.S. however someone else will get a chance you would not have been on the ice originally.
We are trying to review different tactical elements today both on the offensive and defensive side of things, tomorrow he will be working on the power play and the penalty kill. We will be giving them a refresher on what they have learned in the past. For the line combinations we tried to match similar playing styles together, but this is only for this one match since Rich Chernomaz will be working with this later in the season.”
