Fourth place Fehérvár will travel to Vienna to take on the seventh place Capitals for the first time this season and for the first time since the Austrian club knocked them out of the playoffs. In the offseason Rob Pallin wanted to get tougher because of the way thing went during the playoffs against Vienna.

The Capitals have only won one game in the young season in a 7-1 win over Znojmo, and they picked up a point in a shootout loss to Salzburg.

Alba Volán will still be without Andrew Sarauer who is out with shoulder problems and defenceman Aaron Brocklehurst who has a broken hand, along with István Bartalis who is rehabbing his knee injury.

On Sunday Fehérvár will host Znojmo, the only team that they have lost to in the first four games of the season, this also will be the first time former Alba Volán forward Colton Yellow Horn is facing his former team as visitor at the Gábor Ocskay Jr. arena.

The Czech club is sitting at the top of the EBEL with nine points, tied with Dornbirn and one more point than Fehérvár. Besides there matches against Vienna and Fehérvár they shutout Linz and put a beating on Salzburg.

The fehérvár defenders will have their hands full as Yellow Horn is leading the league in scoring and Troy Milam of the Capitals is tied for second.

Head coach Rob Pallin will continue using two goalies as both Zoltán Hetényi and Miklós Rajna have been playing great.

Rob Pallin: “I believe that each and every game against Vienna will be played very hard and with a lot of intensity. We need to continue to play very well defensively but also find the puck in the hard areas of the ice in order to score”
