We defended well in our end

Despite coming up on the short end of a 3-0 loss to Finland the Hungarian team was satisfied with the way the played especially who they defended stopping over 50 shots.

Ádám Vay: It felt great to play against a team like this that is always in the top 2-3 in the world, the guys did everything in front of me that they could to block shots and try to win. It was a real team win, I had my defenseman really helping me. This was very much a big deal for me that I could play against a team like this.

Balázs Sebők: This was a hard fought game for both teams, I think we played very well despite the loss and if we play like this against the remaining tams we have a good chance to pick up some points.

Andrew Sarauer: We fought until the end and we have to gave the guys credit, Ádám kept us in the game, now we need to regroup and get ready for the next game, we need to stick to our game plan and battle a full sixty minutes.

Krisztián Nagy:They had over 50 shots and we probably had another 30 blocks, this Finland team is probably one of the top 2-3 teams in the world, we should be happy with how we played today. We defended well and I think we did as much as we could to help out Ádám.

Vilmos Galló: We defended well unfortunately we were not able to set up our attack, maybe if we would have scored early that might have helped us be more aggressive. These teams here all play at the same level but we tactics and systems came together today.

Rich Chernomaz: This was great character test for us compared to the way we lost the other day to France. We did everything that we could, blocking shots and sacrificing our bodies. Finland is one of the best teams in the world because of the amount of players that they have to pick from. This game might have been harder than the game against Canada.

Kari Jalonen:  We started slow in the first period, but we defended well and were focused for sixty minutes. We might have just seen the best goaltending so far in the tournament. Ádám Vay played great and he made us work for our goals. Our goalie played great as well as we did not allow a goal.
