Jesse Dudás: It was a dream come true, they are so good and they have so many good players. I think we played against them considering this. It is tough to keep up with those guys but we battled and played hard.
Andrew Sarauer: It was pretty cool to play against guys that we see on TV every day, once we started playing our game we were able to keep up with them.
István Bartalis: Sofron forchecked really well the puck came to me I put a shot on net and it went in. Most of their goals were off of counter attacks, I don’t feel tired after playing these two games on back to back days but I don’t think most guys are either.
Bence Stipsicz: It is great to play against guys like this and we can show where Hungarian hockey is right now. I am glad that the coaching staff trusts me and gives me this much ice time. I didn’t think that the fans would be cheering for us like this as if we would have won the game.
András Benk: We left everything on the ice and I feel we have developed in the past seven years. I am glad I was able to play a full game, Hungarian hockey has developed and I hope we can continue on this road. This team had stars just like in 2009 but I did not look at how was playing on the other team only to do my best.
Ádám Vay: I tried to be ready incase I was needed, I was nervous not just when I stepped on the ice but also when Hetényi was playing, we had an unfortunate redirection on the goal I let in but I was happy with the game.
Frank Banham: I have spent four seasons in the country and my kids have grown up there, the federation asked me if I was open to this and it has been a great experience since I have been here.
Rich Chernomaz: We kept them off balance in the first period, us and everyone else respects them. The one thing we wanted to do, and we did in the first period was to play aggressive, we did a great job of skating forward. They scored four goals in a five minute spent and that's where the game was decided.
