
The standings are starting to take form, there is a good chance that there will be a clearer picture forming as who are the playoff front runners and what teams need to do something drastically if they still want to stay in the playoff hunt.
NZ-FTC, Friday at 18:00
Fradi hopes to pick up their second road win of the season as they have an almost 100% healthy roster. For Nové Zámky a win would keep them at least tied for second place, and a first round playoff bye. Newly acquired Juraj Durco will have a chance to step on the ice against FTC
Miskolc-DAB Friday at 19:00
The game of the week and arguably the biggest regular season game in Miskolc in years. With a win Miskolc could be within four points of first place DAB and have a bit of a breathing room on Nové Zámky. After beating Miskolc twice at home this season, DAB travels to Miskolc for the first time this season. Forward Tyler Metcalfe broke his and against UTE and will be out for a number of weeks.
HSC-DHK Saturday at 17:00
Csíkszereda has a winning record at home and they would like to stay close to the final playoff spot as much as possible. Debrecen will be making the long trip to Transylvania with a beat up squad as they lost three more players to injuries in their last game. HSC has parted ways with Swedish center Nikals Sjölund.
Brasov-UTE Saturday at 17:00
After being the surprise team at the beginning of the season Újpest has settled down and have become somewhat of a predictable team as they easily beat the teams behind them in the standings and struggle against the ones ahead of them. Brasov is hoping to pick up three points as they have been playing too many overtimes game then they would like to be playing.
Brasov-DHK Sunday at 16:00
If Debrecen can survive two games without picking up any injuries and going home with three points from the long trip they will be happy. If Brasov could pick up the six points in the two home games the race for second place could become really exciting.
HSC-UTE Sunday at 17:00
Újpest has not fared well in Csíkszereda as they will be going for their first win at HSC this season as well as their fourth in the past five years. If HSC can pick up all six points this weekend they could jump FTC and be within two points of the last playoff spot
DAB-NZ Sunday at 17:00
The league leaders do not have an easy week for them as they will be playing the two teams right behind them in the standings, as road game against Miskolc could have them on a two game losing streak and you add in that assitant David Leger leaving the team, there is a chance that the team could slide into a slump, Nové Zámky and Miskolc could be only a couple points behind them.
FTC-Miskolc at 19:00
The last time Miskolc travelled to take on Ferencváros they played their worst game of the season. FTC will be playing with four full lines despite still have a number of injured players. Miskolc in the mean time has been playing in great for and couple be on a high if they beat DAB earlier in the week.
