For the first time since the start of the season DAB.Docler is not the top of the table, Miskolc and Nové Zámky are sitting tied on 51 points. There was some playing movement as András Horváth, Gergely Borbás and Marek Mikusovic have been let go by Ferencváros and Kamil Trvdek has been suspended because got injured in an off ice incident.
Debrecen is the hottest team in the league right now at the same time Ferencváros managment has warned the players to shape up as they let three players go, the last time this happened FTC upset a couple of top teams, in a game like this anything can happen. Nové Zámky’s up and down season continues despite sitting at the top of the the table, they have been playing to the level of the opponent all season. Ujpest is a team that you can not take lightly however UTE will be missing head coach Zoltán Szilassy as he is an assistant coach on the staff of the U20 Hungarian national team at the World Championships in Dunaújváros.
This week DAB.Docler and Miskolc will be making the trip to Transylvania, and both teams know that neither Brasov or Csíkszereda will be easy wins. To stay in the race for first place neither can afford to drop any points. As mentioned in the past Csíkszereda is a notoriously hard place to win and Brasov isnt exactly a cakewalk either.
Miskolc hopes to have Tyler Metcalfe back in the line, Jesse Dudas will be back after serving his three game suspension.
The last game of the week will be a battle of the green and white as Nové Zámky travels south to Budapest to take on Ferencváros, with DAB.Docler and Miskolc having a road trip NZ has a great chance to pick up 6 points this week and have first place all to themselves.
