After the shortened week the MOL League is back to a full schedule of games, Nové Zámky is at the top of the table with a one point lead over Miskolc and DAB.Docler, with Újpest being one point up on Ferencváros.
For the third time in a span of a week rivals Csíkszereda and Brasov face off against each other, Brasov took the the first two matches but HSC plans to get even on the road. This weekend Ferencváros will be making the their road trip to Transylvania to take on HSC and Brasov, the last time Ferencváros faced these two teams it was on home ice. Brasov took care of them 5-0 with Csíkszereda picking up their first points on the road in a 3-2 overtime win.
The two second place teams will be facing off against each other as DAB.Docler travels to Miskolc for a Friday night thriller, this is the third time the two teams are playing each other with Dunaújváros having the upper hand 2 games to 1 with the home team winning every time. Miskolc’s week does not get any easier as they will take on first place Zámky, this could be a real exciting game with a lot of goals.
Dunaújváros will have a tough game against Debrecen, a team that they should beat but DHK has gotten stronger and stronger as the season has gone on and have had players coming off of injured reserve. DAB.Docler will be closing out their week against UTE, a team that always gives them a hard time. This time UTE could a be a real problem for them as Karol Csányi will be making his MOL League debut this week after getting his Hungarian citizenship.
The first time Csányi will be able to step on the ice in the MOL League will be against Debrecen and he could easily be the difference maker as UTE tries to close the 12 point gap that DHK has on them. Debrecen. DHK will be closing out the week against NZ who might not be at the top of the table after this game.
