For a die hard MOL League fan this is the perfect way to start the new year as there will be twelve games played over the upcoming week. Miskolc is sitting top of the league with Nové Zámky and Miskolc right on their heels.
After beating their top two rivals Miskolc’s biggest challenge will be a home game against Nové Zámky who will be without Marek Uram who has left the team because of financial reasons. Csíkszereda will be visiting Miskolc to start the week and the PolarBears will be closing the week out against Újpest, a team that have been able to dominate all season.
Second place Dunáújváros will be hoping that Miskolc slips up somewhere and also stay ahead of Nové Zámky, an always strong Brasov will be visiting. Brasov hopes to close the gap between themselves and the top three teams. The other two games will not be easy either as they face a Ferencváros who was expecting to have a better season but are still in the fight for the final playoff spot. Debrecen has slowed down after playing great for most of the season despite their roster being decimated by injuries, DHK has been shut out the last two games.
For Nové Zámky it is very important the they have a strong start to the week against Újpest because of the road game against Miskolc they might not pick up points until the end of the week when they play Csíkszereda, there is a chance that Brasov could leap over them in the standings.
After the game against DAB.Docler Brasov will be traveling to Debrecen and then Ferencváros. With Brasov crossing back and forth throughout Hungary they could be a very tired team by the time they are in Budapest to take on Ferencváros, Fradi has a chance to move up to the final playoff spot.
Both Debrecen and Ferencváros have been struggling to score goals lately, their matchup on Friday could be 0-0 after 60 minutes.
Csíkszereda has slowly been getting their form together but it might be too late in the season for them, however they can still have fun and ruin the season for someone else, their game against UTE could be one of these matchups.
