The MOl league season is coming to an end with teams have one last month to make a real push for a regular season title, a first round playoff bye or to sneak into the playoffs. Miskolc and DAB.Docler will be making the trip to Transylvania. The FTC-UTE darby has been postponed because of technical issues at the Ferencváros rink.
These trips to Csíkszereda and Brasov are never safe for a team that trying to catch up to some or trying to shake a team. This has not been a great season for Csíkszereda and a team that has nothing to lose is always dangerous, lately they have been stealing overtime points from opponents. For Brasov the two opponents of Miskolc and Dunaújváros are visiting at the right time. They had a great road trip and with two wins could be sitting in second place and just three points out of first, Miskolc is in great for but DAB.Docler is in a bit of a slump.
Ferencváros had the season that they expected and could see their playoff hopes take a real hit, they travel to Nové Zámky on Friday and look to be road warriors for some time until the situation with their rink gets resolved, on the ice Tvrdek is out for the season after a shoulder surgery.
For Újpest this week will have a playoff atmosphere as they will be playing Debrecen twice in a row at home, the team recently picked up Ales Sila from the EBEL to strengthen their goaltending, however they might still be with Victor Lindgren who is still sick. If they manage to pick up more than three points this week that could give a big boost to their playoff aspirations.
In between their two Újpest games Debrecen hope to score an upset against Nové Zámky, this is an important match for NZ where as Debrecen is trying to stay healthy for the playoffs
