Week 20 Preview

2015.01.30. 11:47 |

With only one week left in the MOL League season only the fifth and last place teams are known for sure, a number of positions can be locked up by the end of Friday night.

Miskolc needs three points in two games to lock up the regular season titles, they should be able to beat Újpest friday night but UTE needs to win both of their games incase Ferencváros wins both of theirs win make the playoffs. UTE will probably be without goalie Ales Sila and the league's leading scorer Josef Mihalik who is sick. In their last game of the season Miskolc will be traveling to Debrecen who will be probably be resting their players since they have not had to play for anything for weeks.

For DAB.Docler to have a chance they will need to beat both UTE and Debrecen and Miskolc would need to lose both their games.

Brasov is in the same situation as Dunaújváros, if Brasov wins out against Ferencváros and Nové Zámky and NZ loses to Csíkszereda they can take the number three spot and avoid playing a strong Debrecen team. Nové Zámky should be able to win against a weakened HSC team that has loaded out eight players to Progym Hargita of the Romanian league and will only have 15 players available for the weekend.

For the last playoff spot Ferencváros has a favorable schedule as they play Brasov first but a weakened HSC team that could guarantee three points. They need to win both games to have a chance.
