
René Léránt took a pass from Attila Pavuk and gave the home team the early lead, towards the end of the first period Lubomir Hurtaj and Martin Uhnák both scored power play goals to give Nové Zámky the lead going into the second period.
An Ákos kIss goal made it 2-2 but 61 seconds later Marek Dubec put Nové Zámky back up by one. DAB managed to score two more goals a minute and half span with Viktor Papp and Adrián Hüffner scoring the two even strength goals.
The home team kept a one goal lead late into the third period when Balázs Ladányi scored an empty net goal after Nové Zámky pulled their keeper. In the last minute of play Nové Zámky scored again Erik Caladi found the back of the net, and the visitors pulled their goalie for the second time but again this was not enough as this time Richárd Nagy scored the empty netter.
The home team jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period, Csanád Fodor made it 1-0 for Brasov on the PP, two minutes later Martin Saluga took a pass from Roberto Gliga and put it past Dávid Duschek. In the last minute of the period Csaba Nagy made it 3-0 and gave Brasov control of the game.
In the second period the two teams swapped PPGs as Levente Zsók made it 4-1 and Roland Hajós put Miskolc finally up on the scoreboard.
In the third period Roberto Gliga made it 5-1, Jordan Knox scored Miskolc’s second PPG of the game to get them back within two, at 53:43 Brasov scored their sixth goal of the game off of a shot from Magor Petres. Knox’s second PPG of the game set the final score at 6-3.
The game was scoreless until halfway through the first period as Mikael Potila put the puck past József Pleszkán, five minutes later the home team went up by two with Dusán Sijka scoring the goal. In the last minute of the first period FTC made it 3-0 when an Andeas Lindquist shot found the back of the net. In the second period Újpest ended the shutout for Krisztián Budai when Roscoe Sweeney was able to make a nice move around him.
“Our line was putting some pressure on, Tamás Virág got a hard shot away after a cycle. The rebound came right to me and I was able to walk around the goalie who had come out pretty far,” said Sweeney after the game.
Zoltán Pál scored a goal to put the home team back up by one as the teams headed to the third period. In the last twenty minutes the game got a lot more interesting, David Coleman picked up a loose puck sprinted down the left wing, crashed the net and slipped the puck through Budai. Less than a minute later Ádám Pichler and Richárd Reiter combined for a nice 2 on 1 where they sent Budai one way and Pichler put the puck in the wide open net for a nice goal and to cut the FTC lead to one goal. In the end Gábor Kiss scored an empty net goal to give Fradi the sure win.
The visitors from Transylvania had a 3-0 lead after the first twenty minutes of play, 57 seconds in Marek Curilla made it 1-0, just past the midway point of the period Vaclav Novak scored his first of his two goals of the period to make it 2-0, with the second one coming on the PP at 14:17.
The second period registered one goal, from the home team’s Richárd Reiter, which put UTE on the scoreboard.
In the early part of the third period David Coleman made it 3-2 but like how it has happened multiple time throughout the season Újpest pulled their goalie, Márk Hajek, to tie the game but Botond Flinta scored an empty net goal.
Up until the 56:35 mark of the game there was a total of 4 penalty minutes in total.
After a scoreless first period Jordan Knox set up Tyler Metcalfe for the opening goal in the early part of the period.
Just past the halfway point of the game Knox scored a goal of his own, in the third period Metcalfe scored his second goal of the game for the 3-0 win. Dávid Gyenes recorded the clean sheet between the pipes. DAB lost after 14 consecutive wins but Levente Szilágyi of Miskolc left the game with a season ending shoulder injury when he took a hard but not illegal hit from Attila Pavuk and crashed into the boards.
A Martin Frolik short handed goal gave Nové Zámky the early lead, later in the second period István Mestyán set up Mikael Potila for the goal to make it 1-1 after the first period.
The second period was all Nové Zámky as Erik Caladi scored twice and Martin Baron once to make it 4-1.
In the third Ferencváros came back within one as Norbert Dancsfalvi and Jere Ölander both scored both scored to make it 4-3 but a Frolik scored twice in the last minute of play to complete his hat trick and to shut the door on FTC.
Jozef Hruby put the visitors up 1-0 but Juraj Faith scored for Miskolc to make it 1-1 after the first period.
The second period belonged completely to Csíkszereda as Zsombor Molnár and Ede Mihály both scored to put the visitors up by two.
The score remained 3-1 after the third period as Csíkszereda took home the three points.
Ferencváros travelled down to Dunaújváros and took a proper beating and were pretty much eliminated from the playoff picture.
Nikandrosz Galanisz scored his first goal of the game 1:47 into the game, Galanisz scored again to double the lead home lead. A Zsolt Azari SHG made it 3-0 with Andy Contois and Ákos Kiss scoring the 4th and 5th DAB goals of the period.
The onslaught continued in the second period with three DAB goals, Dávid Szappanos scoring a PPG, Nikandrosz Galanisz completed his hat trick and Attila Pavuk had an equal strength goal. Things slowed down a bit as DAB “only” scored a SHG from the stick of Szappanos to make it 9-0. FTC managed to score two late goals as Csaba Papp and Gábor Kiss both found the back of the net.
