With the second to last match week of the regular season being played all what the MOL League fans know is that DVTK has a slight lead on MAC for first place. Fehérvár is locked in at third with Dunaújváros and Brasov eliminated from playoff contention. Debrecen, UTE and Ferencváros can all punch their tickets for the playoffs with their next wins.
Diósgyőr can take a big step in winning the regular season this week when they host MAC Budapest and will close out the match week against SC Csíkszereda. Second place MAC of course would like to close the gap with a win and will finish the week up against Brasov.
The two Transilvanian team a will have a hard grind this week as both teams will play four games each. Visiting the two teams in Romania at the start of the week will be the two Fejér County teams, Dunaújváros and Fehérvár with Sport Club and Brasov finishing the match week in Hungary. Brasov will be visiting Budapest to play UTE and the previously mentioned MAC with Csíkszereda going to Miskolc for a game against DVTK and Ferencváros.
After their road trip to Romania Fehérvár will be finishing the week up against Debrecen, who first will play Ferencváros earlier in the match week.
The headlining game of the week might be Ferencváros visiting UTE as Ferencváros could just about guarantee a spot in the playoffs and a win against their rivals could end up having an impact on playoff seedings.
