
If you did not know that much about hockey than this probably would have been the game for you, it had everything.
FTC struck first as Ákos Berta skated down the right wing all the way to the goal line and threw it on net where István Mestyán was waiting and tipped the puck past the DAB keeper. Dunaújváros answered back when Adrián Hüffner skated in and took a shot just inside the blue line and put the puck in the net through the five hole. FTC went up by one on an Arnold Feil goal who just had to tap the puck into the empty net after a couple of nice passes by Antti Ojanen and Dusán Sijka.
In the second period Dunaújváros rattled in three unanswered goals as Ákos Kiss, Henrich Jabornik and Dávid Szappanos all found the back of the cage. At the end of the period just as it looked like DAB had the game in hand Mikael Potila skated in on the visitors net on a breakaway to bring FTC back within one.
With the momentum in their favor the Green Eagles scored early on a Berta goal, the lead didn't last long as 22 seconds later Ádám Zoltán Hegyi put the visitors back up by one with Tamás Gröschl getting the helper. It looked as if DAB would take home the three points but FTC pulled their goalie and with six seconds left in the game Antti Ojanen scored to send it into overtime!
After a scoreless extra period Michal Mervy stood tall and saved Balázs Ladányi's last shootout attempt.
After the game Zoltán Pál said that the team was tried after losing in a shootout the previous night but they knew they had a chance as DAB didn't really pull away in the game.
The Slovak side traveled to Transylvania looking to steal some valuable points from their rivals.
Erik Caládi scored 37 seconds into the game, two minutes later Zsolt Molnár tied it up at 1-1 on a powerplay goal. Molnár's goal ended up being the lone goal scored on a man advantage even though there was a total of 59 minutes of penalties between the two teams. Marek Uram set up Erik Weissmann for the goal at the 13:10 mark and the 2-1 lead for the visitors.
The second period was all Nové Zámky as Lukas Ruzicka and Pavel Kowalczyk both scored to extend the lead.
Weissmann's second goal of the night in the third period closed the door as the Nové Zámky took the three points.
Csíkszereda played host to Miskolc as the home team needed the three points to stay within striking distance of the last playoff spot and Miskolc looking to stay with the league leaders.
The home squad scored the lone goal of the period as Endre Kósa set up Ottó Bíró for the even strength goal. The second period was much like the first as the home team scored the only goal as this time it came from the stick of Attila Góga.
Heading into the final period Csíkszereda had a two goal lead but they could not hold on as Matt Boyle scored and his former UPEI teammate Jordan Knox evened everything up 2-2.
At 3:43 of the extra period the veteran Vacláv Novák beat the Miskolc keeper Dávid Gyenes on a pass from Jozef Hruby to at least keep two of the points at home.
The home team was all business as they looked to pick up some easy point against the bottom dwellers of the MOL League.
Pavel Kowalczyk scored 37 seconds into the match, later in the first period Kowalczyk and Marek Dubec both scored short handed goals 16 seconds apart.
Pavol Pavesic had the lone goal of the second period as Martin Uhanák put the puck on the puck on his tape.
Patrick Korytko, Dubec and Matús Púchovsky all scored in the third before UTE managed to get on the scoreboard as Dániel Szirányi managed to end the shutout, Korytko had his second of the game as the final score was set.
FTC traveled across the border for a two match road trip where they looked to stay with the lead pack and drop Csíkszereda from their heels.
Fradi jumped to a three goal lead in the first period as Antti Ojanen scored a PPG, Tamás Lencsés an equal strength goal and Dusán Sijka a shorthanded one. The home team finally got on the scoresheet as Vacláv Novák put the puck past Michal Mervay for the PPG.
FTC scored another three as Artyom Vaszjunyin, Csanád Fodor and Dusán Sijka all found the back of the cage and József Adorján scored the second Csíkeszereda goal.
Two of the top teams locked horns in a low scoring game.
Kevin Wehrs scored an early PPG for the home side. DAB answered back with an Ádám Zotlán Hegyi goal on which Ákos Kiss had the assist. At the end of the first period Juha Hietamäki scored a PPG with Josh Bonar getting the helper.
Evgenii Pysarenko's goal at the end of the second set the final score at 3-1 in a much needed win for Brasov.
After losing the first game on their road trip DAB looked to salvage some points and stay with the league leaders.
Dunaújváros scored first to open up the scoring on a Balázs Somogyi PPG. Later on in the first period the home team scored a PPG on their own as Ede Mihály set up Jozef Hruby to light the lamp. At 15:28 Vaclav Novak gave the home side the lead, this would be the only scoring in the game all the way until there was nine seconds left to play.
After pulling their goalie for the extra attacker Dávid Szappanos managed to score to send the game to overtime. 25 seconds in Hruby scored his second of the night and the game winner.
Tyler Metcalfe scored 35 seconds into the match but the home team scored twice in the span of half a minute as both Pavol Pavesic and Patrik Korytko beat Dávid Gyenes to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission.
The second period was all Nové Zámky as they scored two goals to open up the lead to 4-1, netting the goals were Erik Caládi and Peter Polcik.
Fradi looked to steal some points against the strong team from Transylvania.
Jere Ölander scored the only goal of the period. The two teams traded goals in the second period as Zsombor Antal scored early and Antti Ojanen put his team back up. Roberto Gliga scored the only goal of the third period.
In overtime Kevin Wehrs scored the game winner as Brasov looked to stay atop of the league.
